How Can I Find a Device?
Procedure how to scan and identify new SCSI devices.
As your cabinets scale out, you need a procedure to identify new devices quickly.
If you use HP hardware, you can use the shell script "hp_rescan" (included in fibreutils.rpm) to scan your SCSI bus for new devices:
# hp_rescan -a
